Meet our new Sales Scientist – Dr. Cassie Sims

At the beginning of 2024, we strengthened the BPC team by welcoming four talented individuals. We’re pleased to introduce Technical Sales Scientist Cassie Sims, PhD, our third addition to the team.

What drew you to BPC Instruments as a company worth joining?
I am excited to join a company constantly innovating with sustainability-focused goals. The prospect of joining a company that consistently challenges conventions and strives for more eco-friendly solutions resonates with me.

What aspects of your role will you prioritize?
My main focus will revolve around joining the sales team, actively engaging with our instruments, and contributing to the technical content. I’m excited about the hands-on aspect of working with the instruments and the opportunity to create valuable content that will support our customers in understanding and utilizing our products effectively.

Would you like to share a bit about yourself?
Before joining BPC, I pursued my PhD in the UK and later worked as a postdoctoral researcher here in Lund, specializing in chemical ecology. My research background has equipped me with a strong foundation in analytical techniques and problem-solving skills, which I’m eager to apply in my new role at BPC.
