BPC Instruments was founded from research at Lund University in 2005. What began as a practical need for better laboratory tools has grown into an international technology company with customers in more than 90 countries.
Today, we develop analytical platforms for biological process analysis across biogas, biodegradability, nutrition, wastewater and related applications.

Payroll Administrator and Finance Assistant
Would you like to combine finance, HR and office management in one role?
About the role
We are looking for a Payroll Administrator and Finance Assistant to join us at BPC Instruments. Based at our newly built premises in Lund, you will report to the Finance Manager.
As part of our finance team, you will work closely with both the Finance Manager and HR Manager. Your main responsibilities will cover everyday finance tasks, payroll administration, HR and office management.
Your responsibilities
- Day to day bookkeeping
- Supplier and invoice administration
- Reconciliation, analysis and monitoring of payroll accounts
- Processing payroll for approximately 20 employees
- Developing and improving payroll processes
- Leading the implementation of a new payroll system
- Employee onboarding and offboarding
- Advising employees and management on payroll, insurance and employment contracts
- Reporting to the relevant authorities
- Managing the daily running of the office and other administrative tasks, including organising events and activities
Your background
You have a few years of experience in finance and/or payroll. You may also be familiar with HR processes and the employment law framework around collective agreements and established practice, or keen to learn more about these areas. Experience in accounts payable or receivable, accounting or period end closing would be an advantage.
As we are an international company, you need to be able to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
