Technical Sales Scientist – OPEN

 

Is your business mind as strong as your science?


At BPC Instruments, we’re looking for a talented and knowledgeable Sales Engineer/Scientist to join our sales and technical support team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert on our instruments, their applications, and our analytical methods. As a Sales Engineer/Scientist, you’ll play a key role in supporting our clients worldwide. From pre-sales guidance and hands-on training to ongoing technical support, you’ll help our customers make the most of their investment in our instruments. You’ll also contribute to technical documentation and be involved in both pre-and post-sales processes, combining your technical expertise with a customer-focused, practical approach.

Your day-to-day
  • Engage in the pre-sales process and post-sales service.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients.
  • Independently design and perform various analytical tests using BPC’s products for internal validation and external services.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation for analytical instruments, measurement protocols, and customer training.
Our wishlist:
  • Experience in technical documentation within instrumentation, biotechnology, or chemical engineering-related fields.
  • Previous academic or industrial experience in scientific laboratories, preferably in biotechnology, biochemistry, agriculture, chemical engineering or physics. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (native or bilingual proficiency is a plus!).
Personal Profile:

You are independent, well-organised, and self-motivated, but you also value teamwork and understand the strength that comes from collaboration. You have a keen eye for detail and tackle challenges in a thoughtful and structured way. Engaging with customers from both academic and industrial sectors comes naturally to you, and you enjoy working in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

Software Engineer – OPEN

 

Calling all interested in impactful software engineering!


At BPC Instruments, we’re looking for skilled and experienced Software Engineers to join our product development team. Our work spans the entire IoT stack, so if you’re familiar with electronics, embedded microcontrollers, back-end, application, and front-end development, we’d love to hear from you. While your main focus will be back-end and front-end software development for our analytical instruments, we value curiosity and a willingness to explore a wide range of technologies.

We offer a vibrant and supportive workplace, where diverse perspectives and cultures come together to create a friendly and open environment. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our product development team, working closely with both hardware and software to enhance existing products and create new ones.

Your primary focus will be programming for embedded systems, making a real impact on the future of our innovative instruments.

Our wishlist:
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, C/C++ and JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with IoT platforms and familiarity with embedded systems and hardware communication protocols is a plus. – Strong understanding of good development practices and the software development lifecycle.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in the analytical instrumentation or industrial IoT sector is a plus.
