Products Aurora software

See your experiment as it happens, from anywhere

Experiments can run for days, weeks or even months. Aurora makes it easier to keep track without returning to the instrument for every reading. Open it in your browser to follow results as they develop, then generate a report or export the data once the test is complete. Now with API access.

Less manual work during every test

Once an experiment is running, Aurora takes care of the data recording. There are fewer readings to make by hand and less information to bring together afterwards.

Follow progress live

See gas volume, flow and other available measurements while the experiment is running.

Check in remotely

Access Aurora from a computer, tablet or smartphone. Local and remote access depend on your network setup.

Keep a complete record

Experiment settings and recorded measurements are stored locally on the instrument, ready for review when you need them.

Export your results

Gas measurements, experiment settings and exported results are handled in one platform, reducing the need for separate files and manual calculations.

Live BMP calculations on-the-go

For AMPTS® III users, we offer live biochemical methane potential (BMP) calculations directly in Aurora while the experiment runs.

Create sample groups in the experiment view, then follow the BMP values as they update on your computer or phone. The results are also included in generated reports, leaving less to calculate separately once the experiment is finished. Giving you more time analysing.

BPC instruments with Aurora

Aurora is included and pre-installed with most BPC Instruments systems.

AMPTS III

Run automated BMP, SMA and residual gas potential tests. Follow gas production and calculated BMP results as the experiment develops.

AMPTS III automated BMP testing system with reactors, carbon dioxide absorption bottles and gas measuring unit

BPC Blue

Follow aerobic and anaerobic biodegradability tests. Aurora™ records the measurements and calculates biodegradability for aerobic workflows.

Bioreactor Simulator III

Follow gas production during continuous anaerobic fermentation studies and compare process conditions over longer test periods.

BioReactor Simulator III with laboratory bioreactors for continuous anaerobic digestion studies

Gas Endeavour III

Monitor gas production or consumption during batch and continuous experiments across a wide range of biological applications.

Gas Endeavour III system for automated gas volume and flow measurement

BPC Go

A compact gas volume and flow meter for precise low flow measurements in laboratory applications.

BPC DAQ

Real-time acquisition of sensor data integrated with BPC® Go.

BPC Connect

Turn up to six BPC® Go units into one centralised system.

Connect Aurora with your other systems

Our latest version, Aurora 1.4, now includes an open, read-only API that allows it to integrate seamlessly with existing systems and applications.

Current and historical measurement data can be retrieved directly from the instrument. Use it to automate data transfer or connect Aurora with a custom dashboard or laboratory information management system.

Full API documentation is available through BPC Academy and directly from the instrument at:
