Meet Mihaela Nistor, Senior Sales Scientist at BPC Instruments

Mihaela Nistor has been part of BPC Instruments since its inception and today works as Senior Sales Scientist, with a global reach. For nearly two decades, she has made a valuable contribution to building the company’s presence on the international market.

– When we started, we were a small company with a big idea. Representing BPC internationally was exciting but also challenging, very few people knew who we were back then, Mihaela recalls.

Since then, she has taken part in numerous international trade shows and conferences, from technical fairs in Europe to major industry gatherings across Asia, North America, and South America. Over the years, she has engaged with researchers, engineers, and business partners from around the world, acting as an important link between BPC’s solutions and market needs.

– I really enjoy meeting clients, listening to their challenges, understanding what they’re trying to achieve, and finding the best way we can support them. That kind of dialogue often sparks new ideas and drives innovation.

Mihaela is especially proud of the collaborative spirit that defines BPC’s culture.
– We’re a group of people with strong team spirit, and that amplifies our success. When people work together with a shared purpose, amazing things happen. And in our case, it’s simple: We invent what science and the industry need.

Extensive travel hasn’t always been easy. Time zone changes, cultural differences, and demanding schedules have all been part of the job. But Mihaela emphasises that every encounter has helped strengthen BPC’s global network and reputation. Over the years, she has witnessed BPC grow from a small start-up into a wellestablished company that now exports to over 90 countries and is recognised as a leader in laboratory automation for biological processes. She takes great pride in how the company’s instruments have become standard tools in both research and industrial settings.

– There’s a huge difference compared to the early days. These days, we often meet customers who already know who we are and actively seek out our products. That kind of recognition is a great validation of the work we’ve done and the reputation we’ve built.

Looking ahead, Mihaela sees strong continued potential, particularly within the fields of biogas, biodegradability, and animal nutrition, where the demand for reliable analytical solutions is growing rapidly.
