Dr Jing Liu, co-founder and CEO of BPC Instruments, has received the Growth Rings in Silver in the Founder of the Year, Small Size Companies category at the 2026 Founders Awards.
The award was presented by Founders Alliance at its 25th Anniversary Founders Awards Gala in Stockholm on 24 September.
Jing founded BPC Instruments in 2005 with a focus on developing better analytical tools for biogas research. More than 20 years later, BPC provides analytical instruments for laboratories and companies working across biogas, biodegradability and other areas of the bioeconomy, with customers in more than 90 countries.

The Founder of the Year award recognises founders who have built successful internationally growing companies. Finalists are assessed by the Founders Alliance Index based on past performance, future potential and social benefit, followed by evaluation by a jury of experienced founders.
