Extend or upgrade your instruments with BPC Next
BPC Next is our upgrade programme for selected BPC instruments. Depending on your current system, you can prolong its lifespan through an upgrade or use its remaining value towards a newer generation instrument. It gives you more flexibility over when to invest in new equipment and more value from the instruments you already own.

More value across the product life cycle
BPC instruments are sustainably designed for long term use, while our hardware and software continue to develop from one generation to the next.
BPC Next is built around that idea. Where possible, you can update the instrument you already own and keep it working for longer. When a newer generation becomes available, you can trade in your current instrument and use the remaining value towards the upgrade.

Two ways to upgrade
BPC Next offers two routes to an improved instrument, depending on your system and generation. Update your existing system or use its remaining value towards a newer instrument.
BPC Next Upgrade
Credit towards a newer generation
Use the remaining value of your current instrument as credit and trade in for a newer generation, with credit confirmed after an assessment of your system.

How BPC Next works
BPC Next starts with the system you already own. We identify what can be upgraded, what value the existing instrument can retain and what options are available for moving to a newer generation. The process depends on the instrument, but the principle stays the same.

Making more of your investment
“Our instruments often serve laboratories for many years. With BPC Next, we want that investment to count when customers are ready to upgrade, and again when the next generation comes along. Taking back the previous system also lets us assess what can be refurbished or recycled, so we make better use of the equipment and materials already in circulation.”

Questions about BPC Next
Which instruments are covered by BPC Next?
BPC Next currently covers selected models within the AMPTS II with planned upgrade options for Gas Endeavour II, BRS and Uflow product lines. Explore your product line for details, or send us your model and serial number so we can confirm eligibility.
What is the difference between Upgrade and Extend?
BPC Next Upgrade lets you use the remaining value of your current instrument towards a newer generation. For selected models, BPC Next Extend updates parts of your existing system so you can continue using it. Extend is not available for every instrument.
How much will my upgrade cost?
The cost depends on your instrument and the option you choose. Any credit towards a newer generation is assessed individually. Your BPC Next offer confirms the scope, price and applicable credit before you decide.
Do I need to return my current instrument?
If you choose BPC Next Upgrade, your previous instrument is returned to BPC as part of the agreed arrangement. With Extend, you keep your existing system. Any shipping or service arrangements are confirmed in your offer.
How much downtime should I expect?
Timing depends on your instrument, location and the work involved. We plan the changeover with you and confirm delivery and service arrangements before proceeding, so you can prepare your laboratory schedule.
What happens to my old instrument if I trade in?
When you upgrade or trade in your instrument, we ensure that all defective parts are recycled or disposed of correctly, and give new life to old parts. While the exact fate of your old instrument depends on it’s condition, BPC Next provides a sustainable way to move forwards with your old instruments.
What information do I need to request an offer?
Send us your instrument model, serial number and location. Let us know what you would like to improve or change in your current setup, and we will help you identify the available options.
Discuss your BPC Next options
Tell us which BPC instrument you have. We will review the available options and help you find the one that best fits your laboratory and needs.
