Sten Strömberg successfully defended his dissertation

At the end of March it was time for our PhD student Sten Strömberg to wrap up his studies at the Faculty of Engineering, Lund University in Sweden. He defended his doctoral dissertation: Developments in feedstock analysis and process control for biogas production, at the Center for Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.

The Faculty opponent was Prof. Hauke Heuwinkel, Department of Agriculture and Food Economy, Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf, Freising, Germany. Supervisors have been Bioprocess Control’s CEO Dr. Jing Liu together with Bioprocess Control’s Research and Development Engineer Dr. Mihaela Nistor.

Sten has been a valued member of the Bioprocess Control team for many years and we are very proud to have had the opportunity to support him on this journey. Needless to say, Sten has acquired plenty of knowledge in the field and he is considered a very good researcher. We are lucky to have had him in our team so far and look forward to what looks like an exciting future together, now as Dr. Sten Strömberg.
