1.9 MSEK grant for the development of advanced sensor

Bioprocess Control was awarded a 1.9 MSEK grant from the Swedish state innovations authority Vinnova to develop and commercialise an advanced sensor to monitor the health of a biogas process. The project will be carried out over an 18 month period starting in January 2010. The development and subsequent commercialisation of this sensor technology fits ideally with our research and development pipeline, and will further strengthen Bioprocess Control’s market position and prize winning application Biogas Optimizer. By being able to monitor the health of a biogas process in real-time and on-line, we will be able to push the efficiency of a reactor even further, in turn having a positive impact on the profitability of our customers.
